About

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change” - Carl Rogers

I know how hard it can be to seek out help, but you’re in the right place, I am here with you. I have my own experience of being a client in counselling/psychotherapy so I understand how scary this can seem. I want to reassure you that these feelings are valid and it’s ok to feel the way you do. One step at a time.  Finding the right counsellor is important, as I believe the therapeutic relationship is where the healing journey begins. It was in therapy that I first felt truly heard, understood and fully accepted for who I am, and this is what I strive to emulate for my clients. Let’s move forward together.

I create a safe and empathic space for my clients to share and explore themselves, their thoughts and feelings. I understand the need for different approaches for each client, as no one is the same. I am an integrative practitioner, which allows me the scope to provide an individual approach with specific tools and approaches that fit each client, their situation and their personality. I am trained in Psychodynamic, humanistic integrative, Transactional analysis, Person Centred and Cognitive behaviour therapy. My aim is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental safe space for my clients, collaborating together to help them make sense of their situation. To empower my clients to reflect and understand themselves in a deeper way. From this place, real change is possible.

I have many years of experience working within the field of yoga and mindfulness as a yoga teacher. I truly believe moving the body opens the mind and I practice yoga as often as I can, when I am not teaching it. I have been a mentor, training new yoga teachers and watching them flourish in the field. I am a registered counsellor with the BACP and I hold an advanced diploma in humanistic integrative counselling having trained at CPPD counselling school in North London.  I work in accordance with the BACP ethical framework as a BACP member.

Sessions & fees

I offer a free 15 minute zoom chat to meet each other and discuss your needs. If we decide to work together we will meet at the same time every week. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

My standard rate is £75 per session, or £95 for those earning £70k or over. This fee structure enables me to offer a number of concessionary spaces to people on a low income.

I offer sessions online via Zoom, or from my therapy rooms in South Wimbledon.
